Changes to the law on public-private partnership are made

The President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin has signed the Federal law "About introduction of amendments to articles 7 and 33 of the Federal law "About Public-private Partnership, Municipal and Private Partnership in the Russian Federation and Introduction of Amendments to Separate Acts of the Russian Federation".

The federal law has been adopted by the State Duma on June 5, 2018 and approved by the Federation Council on June 20, 2018.

The federal law provides that constructions of communication can be subject of the agreement on public-private partnership or agreements on municipal and private partnership.

Besides, it is provided that the wood lot, a water object or a part of a water object which according to the agreement on public-private partnership (the agreement on municipal and private partnership) are necessary for construction of constructions of communication are provided to the private partner for rent without tendering for the term which can't exceed period of validity of the relevant agreement.
